Description
West View is a pair of houses located on Alcester Priory Road, dating from the early to mid 19th century. The buildings are constructed of brick and feature a brick dentil cornice, with a slate roof and brick stacks. They rise three storeys and have a three-window range. There are three central entrances: No.61 has a half-glazed, four-panelled door, while No.63 has a six-panelled door. Both doors are framed with moulded and reeded wood surrounds that include corner roundels. A plank door leading to a passage between the two houses has a brick segmental arch. No.63 features a canted bay window, while No.61 has a 20th-century rectangular bay shop front. A continuous fascia runs across both windows and the entire facade. The first-floor windows are sash windows with 16 panes, featuring rendered or painted stone flat arches with rusticated voussoirs and keystones. The second floor has painted wood lintels. The rear of the building is only two storeys high and has casement windows. The interior has not been inspected.
