Description

Gresley House is an early 19th-century house on Alcester Priory Road. The front is brick faced with scored stucco, and features a moulded stucco sill band on the second floor. A wood bracket eaves cornice sits above a slate hipped roof, with brick lateral stacks. The house has a central staircase plan and three storeys, arranged in a three-window range. The front entrance is a four-panelled, half-glazed door with an overlight, set within a moulded stucco surround and sheltered by a wrought iron openwork porch. The windows are 16-pane sashes with moulded stucco surrounds, with central windows containing 12 panes. The sides and rear are of whitewashed brick. A two-storey wing facing onto School Road has a dentil cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
