Description
Priory Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a simple curved brick cornice. The roof is made of slate and has brick ridge stacks. The house has a central staircase plan and stands two storeys tall with a three-window range. The entrance includes a half-glazed door set in a moulded and panelled wood surround, topped by a door hood supported on shaped brackets and decorative wrought iron panels. To the right, there is a plank door leading to a rear passage, which has a brick segmental arch. The windows are 16-pane sashes, with the ground floor featuring gauged brick flat arches and the first floor having painted wood lintels. The rear of the house is rendered and whitewashed, and it has two gabled wings with casement windows. The interior has not been inspected.
