Description
This is a 17th-century cottage located on Priory Road in Alcester. It features a timber frame with lath and plaster infill set on a lias stone base, although some timbers have been renewed. The roof is covered with old tiles, with some late 20th-century tiles, and there are brick ridge stacks. The cottage has a two-unit plan, is one storey high with an attic, and has a two-window range. The entrance is in the left corner and includes a 20th-century door with a casement window next to it. There are also two 19th-century casement dormers. The right side of the cottage displays a jowled post and gable with exposed framing. Although the interior has not been inspected, there is an early to mid-19th-century whitewashed brick wing on the left, which features a canted bay and a 20th-century door.
