Description

These are three terraced houses located on Urlwin Street, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are built of brick in Flemish bond, featuring gauged brick lintels and stucco dressings. They have slate roofs. Each house is two storeys high with a basement and a single dormer window, and has two windows facing the street. The elevations are identical. A round-arched entrance is positioned centrally on the upper floor, incorporating a plain fanlight. The entrance is flanked by quarter columns, all set within a flush stucco aedicule. To the right of the entrance is an 8x8 sash window with margin lights of original design. Below this is a broad, flat-arched window, formerly tripartite but now recreated. A stucco band runs between the ground and first floors. All first-floor openings are flat-arched, with 6x6 sash windows of original design. A continuous entablature unites the three houses. The interior has not been inspected.
