Description
25A and 25B on Urlwin Street is a mid-19th century house that has been subdivided. The exterior features stucco that has been scored to imitate ashlar stone. It has a hipped slate roof with boxed eaves. The building is two storeys tall with a half basement. All the windows are flat-arched and have 6x6 sash bars in their original design, except for the basement sashes, which do not match the authentic pattern. The arrangement of the openings is slightly off-centre in relation to the rest of the façade. There is a round-arched entrance with a decorative glazed overlight, accessed by a short flight of steps, and a four-panel door that is of an authentic design. The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of a strong group of structures, including Nos 24-30, which share an identical design.
