Description
Nos. 15, 16, and 17 Brentgovel Street is a terrace of three houses built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of white brick and covered with slate roofs. They rise three storeys and have basements. Each house features a three-window range, with 16-pane sash windows on the ground and first storeys, and 8-pane sash windows on the second storey. All windows have deep reveals, stone sills, and flat gauged heads. The basement window openings are positioned just below the ground-storey windows and have segmental-arched heads with cast-iron grilles. The doors, which are accessed by one step, are set in plain semicircular surrounds: No. 15 has six fielded panels, while Nos. 16 and 17 have four-panelled doors. Each door is accompanied by a recessed niche with a foot-scraper. The interior has not been inspected.
