Description

Two houses, Number 41 and Number 43 (Mistletoe Cottage), stand on the west side of High Street in Wrentham. Number 41 is dated 1762 above the doorway, while the right-hand bay of Number 43 appears to date from the early 19th century. The houses are built of red brick, with pantiled roofs. They are two storeys high with an attic. They have four windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars set in flush frames, each with a flat brick arch above. The bays of the older part are articulated by brick pilasters. Number 41 features a wide doorway with a nine-panel door divided into three sections. Number 43 has a six-panel door. Both doorways have reeded surrounds with corner squares, a frieze, and a projecting modillion cornice. The houses have internal stacks.
