Description
The Wrentham Town Hall is a public hall dating from 1862. Constructed principally of red brick with decorative black and white brick detailing and stone quoins, it has a slated roof. The building is designed in a Gothic style. The main road facade features a gable with flanking square turrets that project slightly forward and are topped with steep pyramidal tiled roofs. A large, five-light window in a Perpendicular style is centrally positioned; above the window are the words 'Wrentham Hall', and projecting from the wall above is a clock. An inscription below the main window commemorates the alteration of the original clock within an adjacent canopied panel, which occurred in 1897. Lower gabled entrance porches are set slightly back on either side of the main facade.
