Description
The Limes is an 18th-century house located on the east side of Wrentham High Street. It has an L-shaped plan and is constructed of colourwashed brick with a hipped plain tiled roof, which is pantiled at the rear. The building stands two storeys tall and features three slightly inset sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has flat brick arches above the windows, while the ground floor has no arches. The central doorway is framed by an eared architrave and includes a 19th-century four-panel door, with the upper panels being glazed. There is a frieze and a modillion cornice above the door. The eaves cornice is moulded brick. To the right, there is a three-bay garden front with a lean-to conservatory. A white brick stack is present, featuring a recessed panel on each face.
