GREAT TRY EARLS COLNE ROAD 1. 5214 Windells TL 82 NE 6/26 II 2. Late C16 with later addition. A 2 part house with one bay added at west end, timber framed of 2 storeys with ridged and gabled roof clad with slate. Front elevation pebble dashed and marked in panels. Windows: sets of 3 casements, 3 to ground storey 2 to first storey. Front door now off-centre due to addition, 6 fielded panels and wrought iron arabesque porch. Chimney stack rebuilt circa 1800 in red brick with 4 shafts on a saltire plan. An extension of one storey with slate lean-to roof at west end.
