Description
Abrahams Farmhouse is a house dating from the 15th or 16th century, built in an H-plan and framed in timber. It has two storeys and features two formerly jettied crosswings, which are now underbuilt in painted brick. The roofs of the wings are hipped at the rear, while the hall roof has been raised, making its ridge higher than those of the wings. All roofs are covered with peg tiles. The main chimney stack is made of red brick and is located against the west crosswing. The first storey has a range of four sets of three casement windows, with three matching sets on the ground storey and a front door situated against the east wing. There are also some eight-pane casements on the west end.
