Description

This is a 17th-century house with an addition dating to the mid- to late 19th century, and altered in the 20th century. The house is timber-framed with rendered infill panels, a sandstone plinth, weatherboard cladding on the north-east gable, and a tiled roof. It has two framed bays aligned south-west to north-east, facing the south-east, with a later addition to the south-west, to the right of the central entrance. A south-west gable stack is partly enclosed by the later addition. The house has two storeys and a cellar, which is accommodated by its sloping ground level.

On the first floor are a pair of two-light casement windows, and on the ground floor are two similar windows to the left of a 20th-century porch with a door. A single-storey extension to the left has two similar windows and a ledged door. The timber framing is largely complete, though the ground floor has been refaced. There are three square panels from the girding beam to the wall-plate.
