Description
Swinmore Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill, a sandstone plinth, and stacks with detached brick shafts, topped by a hipped tiled roof. The building is two rooms deep and has a central entrance with end stacks. At the rear, there is a 20th-century glazed lean-to. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has two windows with 2-light glazing bar casements. Similar windows are located on either side of a gabled brick porch that has a ledged inner door. The framing is largely intact, consisting of four square panels from the sill to the wall-plate.
