Description

Cucumber Hall is a house that dates from the late 16th century and has been altered in the 17th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame, is plastered, and has a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. The building has a rectangular plan with four bays and faces southeast. It is two storeys high and has a four-window range consisting of 19th and 20th century casements, including one on the first floor with a semi-circular head. The entrance is marked by a half-glazed four-panel door. Additionally, there are two sash windows with semi-circular heads on the right side of the building. Cucumber Hall was formerly known as Burnt House Farmhouse.
