Description

Water Hall is a late 16th century timber-framed and plastered house, featuring a later addition on the north end. The lower half of the front is weather boarded. The building has one storey and attics, with a four-window range that includes small casements. There are two original doorways, each with four canted arches. The roof is tiled and hair hipped at the south end, and it includes an original chimney stack with three diagonal shafts. Inside, the house showcases exposed timber framing and ceiling beams, and the roof features an original braced tie beam with a crown post.
