Description

The Congregational Chapel, built in 1708, is one of the oldest nonconformist chapels in East Anglia. It is constructed of red brick with blue brick headers. The north and south ends feature raised brick bands. The east and west fronts each have two round-headed windows, while the west front includes two bull's eye windows. The north front has two oval windows above the brick band and a round beaded window below. All windows are fitted with leaded lights. A central 19th-century gabled porch projects from the east front. The roof is tiled and has stopped gables. The east side is adorned with a moulded brick cornice. The chapel is located adjacent to the south-east corner of the Manse.
