Description

Little Baddow Hall is a 14th to 15th century timber-framed building featuring exposed timber-framing and plastered infill. The original central block was extended to the north in the 16th century, but part of it was later demolished, leaving a 16th-century north chimney stack with exposed fireplaces on the north side. The south cross wing has been rebuilt. The first storey of the earlier block jetties out on the west side. The windows are modern mullioned and transomed casements with leaded lights. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams, a Tudor brick fireplace, and original roof construction. The roof is tiled.
