Description

Stable Cottage is a 17th-century cottage situated on the east side of Radway Kinneton Road. It is constructed of coursed ironstone with a thatched roof and a brick end stack on the left. The cottage has a two-unit plan with a gable facing the road. It is one storey high with an attic, featuring a single-window range. A plank door is set within a painted wood frame, topped with a wooden lintel. There are two-light, chamfered stone mullioned windows, largely renewed. A swept dormer window has a casement on the left side. The right return side of the cottage facing the road has an old two-light mullioned window. A 19th-century casement window is on the first floor, set with a wood lintel. The interior has not been inspected.
