Description

Bradden Cottage is a 17th-century cottage built from coursed ironstone rubble, featuring a 20th-century plain-tile roof and a brick ridge stack set on a stone base. The building has an L-plan and stands two storeys high. On the left side, there is a two-light casement window with a wooden lintel. Near the inner angle with the projecting wing on the right, there is a 20th-century door also with a wooden lintel. The gable end of the projecting wing includes a 20th-century stone mullion window with three lights on the ground floor and a small three-light chamfered-stone mullion window on the first floor, both adorned with hood moulds. Inside, the cottage features a chamfered bressumer. The cottage is included for its group value.
