Description

Cedar Cottage is a cottage dated 1683, constructed of coursed limestone rubble and whitewashed, featuring a shingle roof and brick end stacks. The entrance is a 20th-century plank door located just to the left of center, topped with a timber lintel. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying a two-window range. The ground and first floors are fitted with two-light casement windows, also with timber lintels. Above the door, there is a datestone inscribed with the year 1683. Inside, the cottage features chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
