Description

Green Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Shipston Road in Upper Tysoe. It is constructed from squared, coursed ironstone and features quoins on the right side. The cottage has a thatched roof with a brick stack at one end and is one storey plus an attic, with a two-window range and a two-unit plan.

On the left side, there is a 19th-century plank door, and immediately to the right, a two-light twelve-pane casement window. Both the door and window are topped with a continuous wood lintel. To the right, there is a two-light leaded casement window, also with a wood lintel. In the centre of the attic storey, there is a three-light part-leaded casement window. The interior features a set of chamfered beams with ogee stops.
