Description
This is an early 18th-century house, built in two phases. It is constructed of squared, coursed ironstone with quoins, and a plinth to the right gable end. The roof is thatched, with a brick ridge and end stacks. The house has a three-window front, arranged in a three-unit plan. A 20th-century plank door is centrally positioned, with a chamfered wood lintel and an older wood lintel above. There is a blocked door with a wood lintel to the centre right, and 20th-century casement windows elsewhere. Attached to the left is an outbuilding, now used as a garage, built of ironstone with a thatched roof. The interior features chamfered spine beams. Large open fireplaces with chamfered bressumers are located at either end of the house.
