Description

Henbrook Farmhouse is a mid to late 17th-century building that was originally three cottages and has since been converted into a house. It features ironstone banded with limestone and has a steeply pitched thatched roof with stone end and ridge stacks. The farmhouse has a three-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic, with a three-window range.

The entrance is located in the center to the right, featuring a wood door-frame and a renewed plank door, along with a 20th-century gabled stone porch. To the left, there is a 20th-century window with a renewed wood lintel. The far left side has a three-light stone-mullioned window with a hood mould and label stops, while to the right, there is another three-light stone-mullioned window (with an ovolo section) that also has a hood mould and label stop.

In the attic, there is a two-light stone-mullioned window to the left with a hood mould and label stops, a three-light wood-mullioned window (also with an ovolo section), and another three-light wood-mullioned window with an opening casement, all featuring wrought-iron casement fasteners.

To the right of the main structure, there is a two-storey 19th-century limestone extension with a Welsh slate roof. Inside, the farmhouse includes stop-chamfered beams and joists, inglenook fireplaces with stop-chamfered bressumers, plank doors, and stone flags.
