Description

Hillside House is a house built in the early 19th century, with a 20th-century extension at the rear. It is constructed of brick with limestone dressings and features brick end stacks and stone copings, topped with a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range. The central entrance includes a six-panelled door with a fanlight above it, and is sheltered by a Greek Ionic porch. On either side of the entrance are 19th-century canted bay windows. The first floor has three sash windows, which together contain twelve panes, and are adorned with imitation keystones and brick flat arches. The second floor features three smaller windows that are similar in style.
