Description

BROCKHALL SP66SW 5/39 The Gate House GV II House. Late C18 extended to rear late C19. Brick, slate roof, brick end stack. 2-unit central staircase and passage plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range. Central 4-panel door in C19 gabled brick porch, flanked by 3-light leaded casements to ground and first floor; a similar 2-light window above door. Windows and door have stop-chamfered timber lintels. Brick nogged eaves. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams, stone-flagged passage and staircase with slender turned balusters. Included for group value.
