Description
Sunnyview and the cottage to the left are two cottages dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations. They are constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and have steeply pitched 20th-century tile roofs, with brick stacks at the ends. A stone-coped gable separates the two houses. Both cottages are single storey plus attic and together form a four-window range.
The left part features a central 20th-century door with a wooden lintel and a 20th-century porch, flanked by 20th-century casement windows. The attic also has 20th-century casements. Inside, there are stop-chamfered beams, chamfered joists, a timber frame partition, and a wooden winder stair, along with plank doors and wide floorboards.
Sunnyview has an entrance on the left with a plank door that has a moulded wood frame and wooden lintel. To the right, there is a two- and three-light wooden casement window with a stone lintel. The attic contains two three-light wooden casements, and there is a kitchen outshut at the rear. The interior features stop-chamfered beams, chamfered joists, and a stone flag floor, along with plank doors.
