Description
This is a 17th-century barn attached to Tutnells Hill Farmhouse. It features a timber frame with brick infill and some weatherboarding, and is partly built on a brick base over a lias stone plinth. The barn consists of five bays, with the first bay rebuilt in brick. It has wide plank barn doors, and the left side is weatherboarded. The rear, facing the garden, has the fifth bay also rebuilt in brick and includes a small plank door. Inside, there are jowled posts, retaining walls, and braces, along with a queen strut roof supported by two pairs of struts. This barn forms a group with Tutnells Hill Farmhouse.
