Description

Draper Bridge is a canal bridge located on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features rendered brick abutments and a roadway made of cantilevered cast iron plates, which are accompanied by iron railings. The bridge has a hump-backed design with curving abutments and brick parapets. The cast iron plates are butted together, leaving a small gap between them, and the railings are X-framed. The Stratford-on-Avon Canal construction began after 1793.
