Description
Thatched Cottage is a small cottage dating from the 17th century, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed with a timber frame, lath and plaster, and whitewashed brick infill. The roof is thatched, and there is a large external stack made of whitewashed brick. The cottage has a one-unit plan, is one storey high with an attic, and features two ground floor windows, along with one window that replaces a door. The left side of the building has an external stack with offsets, and there is an attic casement window. At the rear, there is a French window. The interior is reported to have exposed framing, while large additions made in the late 20th century are not considered to have special architectural interest.
