Farmhouse. Believed to date from 1687 with later additions and alterations incorporating former dairy to east and with C18 range to north. Brick with Wilmcote stone plinth, with colourwashed render and plain-tile roof. EXTERIOR: west facade: 2 storeys, 4 first-floor windows. 4-panel part-glazed door off-centre to right. C20 windows throughout, that to right, ground floor and 3 to first floor under elliptical arches, that above door has keystone. 3-course first-floor band to right. Modillion eaves band. Outshut to right has plank door. Gabled roof. Roof to rear has 4 gables. End and ridge stacks. INTERIOR: C17 part has 2 inglenook fireplaces with bressumer beams; to right room (kitchen) are 2 beams and to left room one beam, with chamfers and ogee stops. Exposed joists, 6-panel doors, plank door to kitchen. Staircase has stick balusters. Forms a group with Threshing Barn (qv).
