Description

Neals Bridge is a canal bridge located on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal, built around 1813. It features brick abutments and a roadway made of cantilevered cast iron plates, which are complemented by iron railings. The bridge has a hump-backed design with curving abutments and brick parapets. Notably, there is a small gap between the cast iron plates, and the railings are X-framed. The Stratford-on-Avon Canal construction began after 1793.
