Description
Tutnells Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 16th and 18th centuries, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is timber framed with brick infill, and features red brick with a string course and a brick dentil cornice. It has old tile roofs and brick ridge stacks.
The garden front consists of an 18th-century main range that is two storeys high with an attic, alongside a 16th-century cross wing that is also two storeys. The main range has a three-window arrangement with 20th-century casements that include glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are French windows, and the front has two hipped roof dormers. The 16th-century cross wing on the right has irregular 20th-century window arrangements. There is a 19th-century single-storey wing attached to the front, and the entrance front has an irregular late 20th-century design. The interior has not been inspected. The farmhouse forms a group with an attached barn.
