Description
This is a 17th-century barn located to the southeast of Honeyman Farmhouse. It features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded and sits on a brick plinth, topped with an old plain tile roof. The barn has five bays and is aisled, with the central bay open on one side and a stable door on the other. One end has been rebuilt in rubble flint, while the other end remains open. The roof is hipped at one end and half-hipped at the other. Inside, the roof includes a queen post truss with one queen strut truss, straight braces, and curved wind braces. The posts are set on back piers, with aisle ties positioned halfway up.
