Description
Honeyman Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century and was remodeled in the 19th century, with further changes in the 20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infilling and encasing, which is either painted or rendered. The house is L-shaped, consisting of a two-bay original building with a smoke bay and a lower two-bay addition on the left side, both of which are two stories high.
The front of the main building has an outshot with a door located in the corners. The gable end showcases an original five-light window, with a three-light casement from the 18th century above it, and a two-light casement at the end of the outshot. The wing of the house displays exposed timber-frame above the outshot, featuring two 19th-century two-light casements and a three-light casement above. There is a large ridge stack over the center of the main building and a smaller ridge stack on the wing.
