Pair of cottages. "GJN,1880" on tablet, possibly by G Devey for Lord Northesk. Ground floor flint with brick dressings, 1st floor timber-framing with plaster infill, plain tile roof. Pair of 2 storey, single bay cottages. Each cottage has segmental arch at end to porch with door out of sight to inner side. 3-light mullioned and transomed window with diamond cast iron casements in lower lights. Above 2-light similar window with head in gabled dormer. 1st floor moulded brick string. Tablet in centre. Roof half-hipped with large central brick stack with raised strips and bands, and offset head.
