Description
A pair of estate cottages dating from around 1870, situated on the north-west side of Church Street, Great Bedwyn. The cottages are constructed of diaper brick with buff brick dressings and decoration, and have slate roofs. Each cottage is two-storeys high and one bay wide, with a side entrance. The windows are margin glazed with small panes, largely original to 1870 although one has been replaced at the rear; all are set within keyed segmental arches. Each gable displays a two-storey arch feature. A central stack on the party wall between the cottages has been partially rebuilt above its original level. The doors were replaced in the 1930s.
