Description
This is a group of three Tanner monuments located against the churchyard wall in the churchyard, west-north-west of the west door. These chest tombs are made of early 19th century limestone and feature moulded tables and bases.
From north to south, the monuments are as follows: a. The first has fluted corners and an inscription within an oval, with a fan design in the corners, dedicated to Jemima Tanner of Wexcombe, dated 1818. b. The second also has fluted corners and a ribbed border surrounding a square panel, dedicated to Edward Tanner of Wexcombe, dated 1845. c. The third features recessed corner pilasters and an oval moulded panel, dedicated to Marthia Tanner, dated 1803.
