Description

The Tanner monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, positioned west of the west door and by the wall. It dates from 1797 and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded table and base set on a plinth, with an oval panel and fluted end pilasters. It commemorates John Tanner of Wexcombe.
