Description

The Pinckney monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, positioned west-south-west of the west door and adjacent to the graveyard wall. It dates from 1800 and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded base and table, along with a coloured and incised baroque panel that includes corner putti. It commemorates Elizabeth Pinckney of Tidcombe. The surrounding railings have been removed.
