Description
These are a pair of cottages dating from the late 19th century, situated on the west side of Lower Bungay Road. The cottages are built of red brick with blue brick detailing. They have a gable ended slate roof with decorative brick dentil eaves. The cottages are two storeys high. A prominent double half-hipped gable sits at the centre, with a two-light casement window on the first floor, set within a toothed cambered brick arch. The ground floor features two canted bays. All windows have interlaced hexagonal panes. Small, shallow brick porches with doors featuring ornate wrought iron hinges are situated at each side. A large brick chimney stack with diagonally set shafts rises from the centre of the cottages.
