Description
Meadow Cottage and Yewtree Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into a pair of cottages. It dates back to the 17th century and has been altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone and features a tiled roof with verge parapets and pitched coping on corbelled kneelers, as well as end stacks. It has a two-storey, four-window front. The windows include 20th-century casements, with non-fitting shutters on the first floor to the right, and two centrally placed paired labelled 2-light chamfered mullioned windows on the ground floor. Each unit has a 20th-century entrance with a gabled porch and hoods positioned centrally.
