Description

This building, located about 35 yards north-north-east of Bridge Cottages, is a house that was originally two cottages. It likely dates from the early to mid-18th century. The structure is timber-framed with plaster infill and features a continuous roof covered with diagonally-set asbestos slates. There is a ridge stack positioned to the left of center. The house has one storey and an attic, with four structural bays running east to west.

On the south elevation, there are early 20th-century casement windows, with three on the ground floor and two located under raking-top dormers. Additionally, there are two early 20th-century gabled porches to the left of the second and fourth bays from the left, both having glazed sides and ledged contemporary doors.
