Description
Shenley Hill Farm House is a house that was formerly two cottages, dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and has an asbestos tile roof. The building is two storeys high and features four bays. Originally, there were two identical cottages with entrances on the left side. The right side has a three-light ground floor casement window under a cambered head, while the first floor has two-light casements with timber sills. The entrance on the left has been blocked and is now a two-light casement. There are pilaster buttresses between the bays and at the ends of the building. A stack is located to the right of centre on the rear pitch, and there is an external stack with offsets on the left gable end. The right gable end has tile hanging. The rear of the house includes both two-storey and one-storey extensions. Inside, there is a clasped purlin roof and exposed timbers.
