Description
Elliotts Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th century, which was refronted and extended in the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with brick casing and some rendered areas, topped with a machine tiled roof. The house has five bays with a central lobby entry and is two storeys high. A two-storey gabled entrance porch from the 17th century is present, along with a moulded panel over the lintel. The first floor has a casement window with a moulded surround, while the ground floor has flanking bays with flush frame two-light casements that include transoms below the top lights, and a smaller window on the far right. The left side of the first floor has a similar arrangement, with smaller windows to the right. A central axial ridge stack is located on the roof, with an external left end stack featuring offsets and two diagonally set shafts. To the right, there is a 20th-century crosswing extension, and at the rear, there are shallow 18th-century and 20th-century extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
