Description

No. 114 on London Road is a 17th-century house that was formerly a public house. It has a timber frame with a plastered exterior and a tiled roof. The building consists of two bays and stands two storeys high. The entrance is located on the left and features a plank and batten door. On the ground floor, there are two horizontal sliding sash windows, one of which is tripartite. The first floor has two timber casement windows with glazing bars. There is an external stack with offsets at the right end, and a shared stack with the adjoining property on the left. The house has been extended to the rear. Inside, there is much exposed timber. This building was once part of the Cock Inn.
