Description
This is a pair of cottages located on Pound Lane, dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick, with some possible timber framing, and feature a tiled roof. The cottages are arranged in a long rectangle, positioned end to the road, with one cottage situated behind the other. They are one storey high with an attic.
The front of the cottages has an entrance on the right side, with two small sash windows on the ground floor and two more on the first floor, all featuring cambered heads. Timber beams are visible at the eaves level on the returns and at the attic sill level on the front. The left return has three bays with a central entrance and sash windows, while there is one window on the right return. The front has a half hip roof with a ridge stack located behind the hip. At the rear, there is an external stack on the gable end, with later outbuildings attached. The interior has not been inspected.
