Description

This is a pair of cottages located on Alrewas Road in King's Bromley, dating from the late 17th century with some later alterations. The cottages are timber framed with brick infill, although some of the infill has been replaced with painted brick. They feature a thatched roof with a scalloped ridge, a brick ridge stack, and an integral end stack. The buildings are one storey high with an attic, and there are four ground floor casement windows and three attic dormers, with the roof sweeping over them. The ground floor windows on the left have segmental heads. The right side displays irregular framing that includes a curved tension brace. There are two segmental-headed doors. The interior has not been inspected.
