Description
Manor Thatch and Miller's Thatch are a pair of cottages located on Manor Road in King's Bromley. They were remodeled in the 18th century from an earlier building. The outer walls are made of painted brick, which replaces the original timber frame of the cruck construction. The cottages feature a thatched roof with a scalloped ridge, along with a painted brick ridge stack and internal end stacks. They are one storey high with an attic, and have four windows that are segmental-headed casements, plus attic dormers that are arched over. There are two 20th-century doors, each with rustic thatched roof porches. The interior has not been inspected, but it is reported to contain a pair of crucks.
