Description

The Cot is a house, largely dating from an early 18th-century remodelling of an earlier building. Constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and brick ridge stacks, it has a principal east-west alignment facing south, with a cross-wing projecting to the west, aligned north-south. The house is two storeys high with a first-floor band. The front facade has three windows; these are casements with segmental heads, and a 20th-century bay window is located on the right-hand side, featuring a lean-to roof. A half-glazed door is situated on the left-hand side of the main range, at the juncture with the cross-wing. The interior has not been inspected but may be of interest.
